Heavy Rainfall Warning Issued for East and South Jakarta

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is forecasting a mix of overcast skies and moderate rainfall across Jakarta.

Temperatures today will range from 24 to 28 degrees Celsius

"Rain in the morning," stated BMKG's official website, Friday (1/2).

By midday, conditions in Seribu Islands are expected to transition to cloudy skies. Meanwhile, light showers will continue to dampen Central, North, West, and East Jakarta, while South Jakarta is slated for moderate-intensity rainfall.

In the afternoon, overcast conditions are predicted to blanket the entire capital, covering the Seribu Islands and all five administrative cities.

The evening forecast suggests potential light rain for Seribu Islands, while the rest of Jakarta—including Central, North, West, South, and East—is expected to remain cloudy.

Temperatures today will range from 24 to 28 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels between 75 to 82 degress Celcius.
